Happy Belated New Year to everyone!
After a wonderful winter break back home in my home state of Massachusetts, I am back in the office and ready to get back to work. I have a feeling that 2011 is going to be a great year – and I’m excited about the promise & hope that come with the start of a new calendar year. Anthony and I will continue our blog in this new year so please look for more video blogs, photos, helpful advice, etc from us in the future.
Before we officially close the book on 2010, I thought I would share some interesting statistics from the helpful WordPress folks. For the Destination: Elon blog, they recently sent me an email that provides insightful information about the blog content, who’s viewing the blog, etc. As loyal readers, I wanted to share some of the more interesting tidbits – happy reading! And of course, thank you to the helpful Team WordPress for compiling this information!
- A Boeing747-400 passenger jet can hold 416 passengers. Destination: Elon was viewed 5,200 times in 2010 which is equal to 13 full 747s!
- The busiest day of the year for Destination: Elon? December 20 with 190 views. Most people checked out the What Does It Mean to Be DEFERRED (Part II of III) page.
- Some people were referred to the blog through other websites (such as Elon’s Admissions homepage) while others found the page by searching through an engine. The most popular terms: “elon winter term“, “elon university winter term“, “elon“, and “elon early decision“
Again, I thought these were some fun stats to share with you as we enter into a new calendar. Thank you for reading (as always!) and please let Anthony or myself know if you have any questions or would like to see a post on a particular topic.
